Here's another great setup with a wall mounted flat panel monitor. A very clean install. Nice additions with the bluetooth wireless keyboard and mouse!

The gear:

• MacBook 2.0Ghz / 1GB RAM / 120GB Hard Drive
• Griffin iCurve laptop stand (custom wall mount)
• Apple bluetooth keyboard and mouse
• Apple Pro Speakers / Griffin iFire amp
• LaCie 250GB Hard Drive, Design by F.A. Porsche
• Mitsubishi E35 18.1'' Flat Panel (wall mounted)
• IKEA Docent bridging shelf as desk (between storage units)

A well done alternative to putting a table below the TV. It really works well with the TV mounted up so high. Looks like there's a outlet box behind the DVD player there. Clean install - no wires.

How about this one? A 13 hour install is a little overkill though. I'll have to say that it is very aesthetically pleasing.

And that's what a plasma TV above a fireplace looks like. The wires are a little rough looking but he swears they covered them up. Well, I see this question come up a lot - "Can mount my flat (plasma, lcd, etc.) TV above the fireplace"? The answer is "yes".

Here's somebody that did it and gave us pictures to prove it with. Not only did he mount his plasma TV above the fireplace but he also used only one stud in the center of the mount along with some drywall anchors. Way to go Darron!
